33rd ANNUAL REGIONAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR

Welcome to the annual Georgia
College & State University Regional Science & Engineering Fair.
The Fair will be held at the Centennial Center on the campus of Georgia College
& State University on February 5-6, 2010.
Please find below an invitation to submit your very best projects to the regional fair.
NEW THIS YEAR
We are pleased to offer online registration beginning December 1, 2009 (see below). The registration deadline is January 15, 2010.
The registration fee for the regional fair is $25.00 per individual. Checks or money orders must be made payable to GCSU Foundation/Science Fair. For registration to be complete, fees must be submitted with all required forms.
A Checklist Form must be completed and signed by the Fair Director/Supervisor. Please attach the Checklist to ALL required forms. All materials must be received by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2010.
A science educator is NOT required to serve on the SRC or IRB; just an educator.
Please note that the Form (4) – Human Subjects Form has changed. ISEF now requires a separate informed consent form, which should also include photo consent. A Sample of Informed Consent Form is available in the Rule Book.
Due to rising costs, schools will not receive the 2010 Rule Book by mail. Instead, the Rule Book is available immediately for view and download at http://www.uga.edu/oasp/.
The Fair Director will be available to host student, teacher, parent, school-wide, or district-wide fair meetings during the weeks of September 8-11 and October 5-9, 2009.
REQUIRED FORMS FOR RSEF
Only one Checklist Form per individual or per team must be completed. The Checklist must be submitted by mail with COPIES of all required forms. Please keep all originals as they must be displayed with your projects. Send all required materials to:
