Science Camp: June 14 - 18 students entering grades 6 - 9
Science Camp Jr. July 6 - 9 students entering grades 3 - 5
Science Camp Jr. July 19 - 23 students entering grades 3 - 5 (repeat camp)
Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Cost: $50.00 per camper
Location: Lake Laurel Cabin at Georgia College (unless otherwise noted)
Georgia College &
State University is pleased to announce its ninth annual all-science
academic camp.
Each fun-filled week of science at Lake Laurel Biological Field Station
will feature hands-on and
outdoor activities presented by your camp counselors, Georgia College faculty, area scientists and local community members.
In addition, campers will be assisted by some of the finest undergraduate students at Georgia College.
Swim time will be included each Thursday.
Campers will study biology, chemistry, physics, space, and the environment.
Students must bring daily lunch and snacks will be provided.

Driving directions to Lake Laurel Science Education Cabin:
From Georgia College, go east on HWY 22 (Hancock St.) toward Sparta.
Cross over the bridge and continue past the blinking yellow light.
Make a left onto Lake Laurel Road and drive another 5 minutes (past the first sign for Lake Laurel Lodge).
Continue up a slight hill to the Lake Laurel Biological Field Station which is on the right.
There will be a sign and a yellow gate.
Make a right turn to the cabin.
Science Camp is co-sponsored by the Office of Academic Outreach. and the Science Education Center at Georgia College
through generous donations from the kaolin industry.
